FAQs / POLICY / TERMS

Grand Rapids Embroidery aims to provide outstanding service and will make every effort to make sure you are completely satisfied with your order. PAYMENT IS DUE UPON DELIVERY.

We are happy to consider a customer’s own goods, however, Grand Rapids Embroidery is not responsible for replacement of customer supplied items (customer’s-own goods) if there is an issue during production resulting in irreparable damage. Fabrics & garment construction vary and we make every effort to produce outstanding embroidery that will stand the test of time in quality and wearability. Production issues can occur, albeit rarely.

All customer’s-own goods must be in NEW condition. Washed or worn apparel will only be accepted upon inspection. Please have all items contained in protective bag(s) or box(s).

We are happy to source vendor goods offering customers a wide range of products, colors, styles, sizes, materials, pricing, etc. to meet budget concerns. We aim to accommodate our customer’s requests to the best of our ability and will advise if embroidery will not meet quality standards on a particular product for final production.

Grand Rapids Embroidery partners with responsive vendors to supply quality goods for embellishment. Customers are asked to prepay for goods ordered prior to embroidery or heat press application.

SanMar is excellent for the basics to high end apparel brands. They are also sensitive to extending sizing featuring a broad range of colors available up to 6XL. This is terrific if your company is interested in unusual colors to highlight branding goals.

OneStop is great for the basics:  t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies and athletic apparel. They do have some limited specialty brands.

Alphabroder offers an extended range of high end executive styles, as well as many of the basic brands.

S&S Activewear features many of the same basics as previous vendors listed. Items ordered by 3:00pm EST, usually arrive within the next business day.

Customer will incur shipping costs for orders below minimum from product suppliers.

Grand Rapids Embroidery aims for timely deliverables within 5-10 days of order placement.

For first time orders, it is optimal to have a two full weeks to work up the design and provide samples for approval.

A project will be scheduled upon approval of design & final quote. A delivery date will be set at that time. We strive to beat this date and will make every effort to communicate our progress to keep you informed.

A $5 rush charge per item up to 25 pieces will be set for delivery less than 5 days from order date. Larger quantities will be assessed according to schedule and quoted prior to order.

Just email or call us with your initial request:.

If a customer finds a product we source at a better price, we will work to negotiate our price (ex: Nike, Adidas, higher end brands) upon review. There is often a particular reason or manufacturing issue for products found on clearance, discontinued. This may also result in issues during the embroidery process. If we invest time in recommending brand & style numbers, and a customer then finds sources at a lower price, we ask that you respectfully notify us prior to purchase to see if we can match or beat the price.

Grand Rapids Embroidery may be open to purchasing retail goods for embroidery or heat press for an additional 15% up-charge added to the retail price (for processing) and the product would be considered as customer’s own, limiting GRE liability in production as an item would not be replaceable at cost if somehow damaged in production (a very rare occurrence but part of our policy.) Reimbursement downpayment for the total receipt of purchase at retail is required prior to application production (including any taxes imposed.)

Depending on the current production schedule, we can offer design services for graphic, logo, or identity building.

Design time is charged for time spent over 15 minutes detailing an initial project at $25 minimum and per half hour of in-person consultation.

Design time for logo work beyond 1 hour is $75/ hour.

All embroidery orders are non-refundable. If a quality issue arises, we will make every effort to fix the issue if notified within 2 weeks of the customer receiving the goods. We do our very best to inspect and quality check each item throughout the production process. Paid-in-full affirms acceptance of product delivered.

Payment is due upon delivery for all orders. We accept Check, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover (a 3.99% fee for credit card payments will be added by the card processor.) A $25.00 service fee will be added every 30 days for unpaid outstanding ACH invoices.
